Multidisciplinary Artist
Expressive Arts Therapist

Individual Therapy
(In Person & online_ Ontario)
I offer individual expressive arts–based therapy sessions for children, youth, and adults, both in person and online.
I currently see clients in person at Footprints Therapy in Innisfil, and I also offer online sessions for clients located in Ontario.
My work is trauma-informed, relational, and grounded in the belief that healing happens through connection—connection with ourselves, with others, and with the creative process.
Who I Work With

I work with children and adults who may be navigating a wide range of emotional and life experiences, including:
-
Stress, anxiety, and emotional overwhelm
-
Trauma and complex life experiences
-
Grief, loss, and major life transitions
-
Anger, fear, and the emotional impact of displacement or migration
-
Challenges with emotional regulation, expression, or connection
I adapt my approach to each person’s age, capacity, cultural context, and individual needs, working at a pace that feels supportive and safe.

Medical Trauma & Illness-Related Support
For Children and Adults
I also offer expressive arts–based therapeutic support for individuals and families navigating medical hardship and medical trauma.
This includes working with:
-
Children living with serious medical conditions, including cancer
-
Children who have experienced medical procedures, hospitalizations, or ongoing treatment
-
Children whose parent or caregiver is living with cancer or a life-threatening illness
-
Adults living with cancer or other serious or chronic health conditions
-
Parents and caregivers impacted by illness, caregiving, and uncertainty
Medical experiences can affect emotional safety, the nervous system, and one’s relationship with the body. Expressive arts therapy can offer a gentle, non-verbal way to process fear, grief, anger, and uncertainty, while supporting emotional regulation, resilience, and a sense of agency.
I work in a way that respects each person’s physical condition, emotional capacity, and lived experience, offering care that is responsive to medical realities.

My Approach
My therapeutic approach is relational and client-centered. I meet each client where they are, honoring their lived experiences, cultural background, body wisdom, and inner resources.
I use expressive arts modalities as therapeutic tools, choosing and adapting them based on the needs of each client. These may include:
-
Visual arts (drawing, painting, collage)
-
Movement and body-based practices
-
Sound, rhythm, and voice
-
Creative writing, storytelling, and imagery
In work related to medical trauma or illness, expressive arts therapy can offer a non-verbal, gentle way to:
-
Process fear, pain, and uncertainty
-
Express emotions that may be difficult to put into words
-
Support nervous system regulation
-
Restore a sense of agency, play, and meaning
No prior art experience is needed. The focus is not on creating something “beautiful,” but on using creative expression as a way to explore, process, and integrate lived experiences.
Sessions are guided with care, consent, and choice. Clients are always invited—never forced—to engage in any activity.

Registration Status
I am currently in the process of completing my registration as a Registered Psychotherapist (Ontario). My work is guided by professional ethics, ongoing supervision, and trauma-informed practice.

Online Expressive Arts Therapy

(National & International – Private Pay)
In addition to my Ontario-based work, I offer online expressive arts–based sessions for individuals outside Ontario and internationally, where appropriate.
These sessions are offered as private-pay expressive arts therapy and are not eligible for insurance coverage. They are provided with clear boundaries and informed consent.
This option may be supportive for individuals who:
-
Are navigating medical illness, cancer, or caregiving from a distance
-
Are living outside Ontario or Canada
-
Are seeking creative, body-based, and expressive support
-
Are experiencing grief, fear, transition, or collective trauma
-
Feel drawn to working through movement, image, rhythm, and imagination
These sessions focus on:
-
Emotional expression and regulation
-
Supporting the nervous system during periods of stress or illness
-
Meaning-making through creative processes
-
Strengthening inner resources, resilience, and connection
As with all my work, this process is choice-based, respectful, culturally sensitive, and non-judgmental.
If you’re curious about this work or wondering whether it might be supportive for you or your child, I invite you to reach out with any questions or to discuss your needs.
